The Ballina Jockey Club has a history dating over 110 years and has been an important part of the Ballina community. Ballina Jockey Club is located at Ballina on the beautiful North Coast of NSW, approximately one hour south of the Gold Coast with Byron Bay in close proximity. We are a major regional training facility with approximately 200 horses in work at any one time. We hold 18 race meetings each year including Ballina Cup in September and Boxing Day Races attracting large fields and crowds.

Other major feature days include the Byron Bay Cup and the Iris Nielsen Ladies Invitation Race in which attracts some of the best lady jockeys from Australasia.  So whether it’s for racing, functions, conferences, special events big or small The Ballina Jockey Club is ‘Right  on Track’.
